Ounom did that^ but thenonly similarity is that they're disco balls.

I like it, not a huge fan of how you've rendered the disco ball though, looks like mosaic atm

v2. Recolored the ball, tried to make it less mosaic-y...but still not quite looking like mirrors.

I think some parts of it are a bit too dark. I think that medium grey color used in there (not too dark, not too light) should be the darkest. Range from white to that grey.

try breaking up the light inside a bunch of the squares (a highlight that dashes across diagonally)

should help.

Thanks for the feedback all. I added "glow", lightened the mirrors, and reduced the space between them to make it less mosaic-y. I still need to refine it but I feel like I'm getting there. More suggestions are welcome!

I like the blue. Could be the shading, though. Shading on the new one is the bomb diggity.
