It think Sarah Palin is an insult to women if she's willing to run on the ticket with John McCain and expect to get the votes of Hillary Clinton supporters.

I want to know where people are getting the information that she is expecting to get votes from the hilary Clinton supporters?

I think she is sassy, but I don't agree with alot of what her and mccain have to say
maymit
maymit on Sep 11 '08 at 1:01pm
she stated it in her acceptence speech at the end, not the one at the convention the speech she made when mccain annouced that she was his running mate. you can find it on youtube

Sarah is a really good person

and she has done a lot of good in Alaska

so I am hopeful she will do a lot of good for the US

and I think it is pretty rude to say she is an insult to women

it's evident that the masses in this country are still scared of two things :

1) a black man running things

2)a woman running things/ in power

ISABOA

it would have been nice to have one of the two bridges

(cause one of the nowheres is where I live)

but you know - whatever, it became a very controversial issue using federal dollars, so I agree if the state is gonna build it then it should pay for it

Seeing as the only experience she has is as mayor to a VERY small town, and only governor for LESS then two years, no I do not think she has the experience to be Vice President.

She's lieing about saying "Thanks but No Thanks" to Congress about the Bridge to Nowhere and she's only just got on the ticket.

I really don't think her two years experience as governor can compare to Joe Biden's 30 years in the Senate.

isaboa, If you were a mother you would understand that she is completely selfish . she has a baby with down syndrome but yet she chose to run for vice president. she has a pregnant teenager and instead of staying home and taking care of her she decied to put her buiness in the streets by running for vice president.

right - well dom, she cut federal earmarks by 50% in the state when she became gov - which did piss off ted stevens and such.

But she was making valid points - and John Mccains policies concerning earmarks falls right in line with what she has done

trig has always been in her office with her, she does not have expensive nannys and such - she is a good mom. I know this for a fact. She brings her baby and kids everywhere with her

name any professional successful woman who does that? Seriously, it seems like women who disagree with her policies are just being very mean about the fact that she is a woman. Remember that this is history in the making for womens rights.

it is pointless to argue with blatantly incorrect statements - even the alaskan democratic party admits that she put the kibosh on the bridge

and she has far more EXECUTIVE experience than obama or biden, they were just legislatures, committee members, pencil pushers

sara, obama doesn't exactly have a great deal of experience either. especially not executive experience.

sponsoring 136 bills and having 2 passed into law...well..ain't that great.

I know one thing. I would not like to be on her bad side!

She seems like a vindictive person to me! She's a fellow man ( woman ) and I love her but I don't trust her or McCain nor do I trust Obama and Biden!

She asked for the money then after receiving it decided not to build the bridge and kept the money. Her statement is very misleading, because she is inferring that she said "no" from the start.

I wouldn't say something that was blatantly incorrect, I'm not that type of person.

"When a bridge over the Mississippi killed 13 people in Minneapolis last year, Mr. McCain blamed projects like the Gravina Bridge for siphoning off money that should have been spent on inspections and upkeep." I think the NY times is credible...

Yeah, she'll have the executive experience to ruin our country even further.

I have seen the poll numbers that show Sarah is more popular than obama, mccain and biden.

I cannot understand why so many folks are so full of sarah rage

the same can be said about mccain, too, though, because he's been in the house/senate his whole political career. he never ran a state. by that logic, palin is more qualified than mccain to be president.
