GIMP is a pain in the ass you should just go download Photoshop.

okay. it might be a stupid and ignorant question but i don't know the answer sooo... how, in GIMP do i get my design ready to submit( meat the size criteria and all that stuff)

well, you should always design at a high resolution and shrink it down to submit.

submission size, for the sake of this blog, is 640x480. so when you design, make sure it's a multiple of that so it'll resize correctly. when you're ready to submit, shrink it down to 640x480 and save it as a gif, png, or another acceptable file size. make sure it's under 250kb.
