I had to order an extra large girly-tee because I want a shirt with boy-names on it. I hope it fits!

i wear a guys XL. apparently, so i have heard, a girls XL is smaller than a guys small? i dont know how that works. i am normally a womens 2XL. by threadless standards, if a girls XL is smaller than a guys small, i would be a girls 5XL. and i think clothes that big have to be special ordered. i know im fat, but im not THAT huge!

kinda pisses me off, too.

i thought the same thing, but looking at the size chart for girl sizes i'd be worried that it would look like a belly shirt, there is a 4.25 inch difference in length from a guys xl to a girls xl. even the mens small is longer than the girls xl.

well, with a girls shirt, a peron can always wear another shirt under it. but it seems that women like the dirty hooker look these days... its a trend to have clothing that in fact does not act as clothing and cover the body.

someone had suggested that a guy's name should be hidden among the girls'. i rather liked that.

they could all have been androgenous names. Toby, Jamie, Steph, Gabrielle, Cameron, Billie, etc.

the some of my girls shirts are pretty long on me, others are just right. none expose my belly (except when i'm hanging upside down) and i certainly don't think they make me look like a dirty hooker.

i think it is just a product of females generally having a shorter torso than males.

easy mistake. anything ending in A is traditionally feminine.

other names like carol, courtney, ashley... all can be used for guys. its a bit odd. i like it, though.

i am naming my first son dian. no, not diane. dian. "dee-un". his name will be dian james, so he can go by DJ, james, ian... plenty of options. but i just KNOW some teacher is going to call "diane schlaack" to his/her desk, and my son will appear before them. mmmm awkward.

if anyone is wondering where i got the name from, check out one of trey parker and matt stones buddies in filmmaking :)

in the sixth and seventh grade the attendance sheets were printed by the school's new computer, (yes i am THAT old) for whatever reason they decided that all first names no matter how long would have only the first 7 letters printed. thus beginning the nightmare of christi, when infact my name is christian. why it couldn't have been 6, and i could have been christ, i would have been cool with that. consequently i changed my name in the school's registar to chris. that and of course Night Ranger did me no favors with "sister christian". there was always some jackass at the school's skate party that thought it was a riot to request the song for me.

years later when i managed a video and music store our reciepts would print up our name on the reciept for every transaction. i never got tired of people calling in or trying to refute late fees and you would ask, could you tell me who helped you with your purchase.....there would always be an odd pause followed by an um and well it says christ helped me.
