Mukas shirts aka Michael is a boy, has been a member since June 24, 2008, has scored 56 submissions, giving an average score of 3.39, helping 2 designs get printed.
So I am not sure that I am doing the the whole submitting thing right. They ask for the thumbnail to be 100 by 70 but this distorts my shirt because before i change anything it is in 640 by 640 a square... I got rejected because "the quality of my image is too poor (pixilated or blurry). " and it doesn't look that way to me... any help??? It says to save my work at a higher res. but I dont know how to do that and I dont think that is the problem to be honest... help anyone???

Post your design so we can tell you what's wrong. Post it here or as a critique.

definitely to pixelated and blurry if your avatar is your design you tried to submit. It should be submitted to the critiques anyway before its up for scoring..

I am having the same problem! my first critique submitted fine but now that i am trying with my new version it is all distorted. Anyway the first time it worked for me when i reduced the size of the illustrator file to 320x400 (half the size of the required) and then saved it as a PDF. from there i opened the PDF and saved that as a JPEG

why would you reduce it to half the size of the required?

if you know this, im sorry, but for everyone who isnt aware of issues with resizing files..

going from large to small is usually fine, going from small to large, never a good idea if the file is rasterized, if its a pdf or a jpg, its not going to work. when you reduce your file, reduce it to 72 dpi, 640 wide. the height doesnt matter as long as its proportionate, but it MUST be 640 wide.
