Is the Zelda/Tin Man heart thing clearly conveyed here?

I think it would be fun to do an animal design that's part everything. My wife just saw it and said it's missing something like a crab. Have I missed any others?

I'm starting my work on a trilogy of designs I've been thinking about lately, each of which is directly inspired by the novels of Kurt Vonnegut. The first one is a nod to the painting style of Rabo Karabekian (from Bluebeard and Breakfast of Champions). This is the sketch.

I've got the other two designs pretty well conceptualized in my head, but for this first one I'm still unsure if I'm going to include a bunch of stuff from the books (a kid on the sidewalk making a cat's cradle with string, a billboard that says "No More Blue Mondays" in the background, etc.,), OR if that would make it too busy so I should just let it be about the vertical beams of light emanating from the souls of the living things on the sidewalk (the main point of the shirt).

Any thoughts are welcomed.
Central Floridians or prospective tourists: you MUST see the new exhibit at the Polasek museum in Winter Park. It's a huge collection of old, original illustrations for pulp sci-fi and fantasy novel covers! They're gorgeous in person, done by the old-school masters of illustration. Plus they have a nice theramin on display and you can play it!

Here's the link for the exhibition's home page.
Sweet! This design looks great on the models- nice work Threadless!

Here's the background on this shirt:

The American Civil War battle of the Merrimack vs. the Monitor was the first battle in the world between two armored ships, and as a kid I thought it was so cool that these two indestructible ships were pounding away at each other for hours, but neither one could even make a dent.

In this design, the two rivals must put aside their differences in the face of an even greater danger. It's kind of like Godzilla and King Kong teaming up to fight off a comet...

This is part 2 of a trilogy of American history designs featuring "what if?" scenarios with giant robots. the first one was Twenty if by Giant Robot.

Thanks and excelsior!

Sometimes I think I make too many t-shirt designs. I want to start work on an idea I never quite saw through- "Good Advice from Ugly People," a series of vignettes about religion and spirituality, plus some useful tips for everyday life, all told with sequential art. We'll see...
I've seen a few of real life versions of cartoons shirt designs, and thought this might fit fit well within that pantheon. If you've never seen an episode of dora, this might not make any sense. Unless you're crazy, then it might make perfect sense.

I'm excited to throw myself into this one:

I'm a little unsure about how to close off the background, but I want them to be in a secluded love nest. We'll see...
This shirt is part of a trilogy of American history designs featuring "what if?" scenarios with giant robots. Big thanks to Travis (a.k.a. TGWA) for the idea for this one!
