Where's Boots? Can you help me find Boots?

I've seen a few of real life versions of cartoons shirt designs, and thought this might fit fit well within that pantheon. If you've never seen an episode of dora, this might not make any sense. Unless you're crazy, then it might make perfect sense.

Still can't decide what to do with this one. Do I make it as realistic as possible? Or do I try to make it stylized? Or do I just make it and see what happens?

Here's an updated version. I lost the little girl- something about drawing a horrified realistic 5 year old is too weird. I think "Swiped" would be a good title.

I think you're on the right track. realistic fox & boots. I'm not sure it looks like the fox ate boots now that Dora is gone. Her expression sold it for me. If there's no Dora I would somehow connect the fox with the boots... they're too separate right now.

But as a Dad who has to watch Dora all the time, I would love to own this shirt when finished!

I'll draw a Dora, maybe a backpack and see what happens. Or maybe just shreds of a backpack and map. I was thinking of putting light blue and yellow fur in, but then it gets too violent.

yeah, I don't think it should lean toward violence -- beyond pointing at the violence of nature. Just having the empty boots tells that part of the story. Dora could be more perplexed than horrified, if that's more palatable...

OK, so I went with D and it really did tie the whole thing together...

Still got some tweaks, and am unsure of shirt color...

I think you should trace your pencil drawing of Dora exactly. She looks asian and skinny, in your first drawing she looks great! Also-her feet are really tiny in the 2nd.
