Which approach is more well received on here? Is it worth re colouring my hand coloured work on the computer before subbing it?

Depends what kind of printing technique you'd want, I think. If you want the regular kind, do it on the computer. But I think process printing can handle hand-colored work. Maybe.

I don't know techniques of many designers, but I know that most use Illustrator, Photoshop, or something similar. Even people like vallorandvellum, who draws her stuff by hand, colors her illustrations in photoshop after inking and scanning, etc.

That said, hand coloring could be a refreshing approach on threadless where most stuff is obviously created digitally from start to finish.

Computer coloring will work best. Otherwise you'll just have to scan in your image and simulated process would be your only option.

You could always live trace your image to make it vector
