I have missed you. In celebration of my first submission in 519 days, I have decided to hold a contest.

My new submission is called "Never Trust an Owl", so I would like to know YOUR best reason not to trust an owl. Simply click the link below and give me your reason in a comment on my design's page.

Never Trust an Owl - Threadless T-shirts, Nude No More

As seen in my new design, there are many reasons not to trust an owl, but there are thousands more that may be just as valid as the ones I've presented. For instance, you should never trust an owl because they swoop down and fly away with all of your Halloween candy (on Halloween). Other nights of the year, they steal your groceries.

To the person that posts the funniest, most off-the-wall, or most truthful reason not to trust an owl... I will send a mostly awesome prize pack. The prize pack will make you cooler in the eyes of your fellow owl haters and maybe even lovers. It also includes a few items to protect you from the winged nuisances. I will send out the prize pack to the writer of the best comment on my design as soon as it has ended, regardless of whether it prints or not.



The prize pack includes...

- $50 gift certificate to Threadless
- Insanely cheap camouflage combat vest and nowhere near realistic plastic hatchet to ward off owls + the worst telescope ever to find them
- Craft-tastic owl-shaped fabric iPod/iPhone case that you have to sew yourself (it's a kit!)

- Vintage-looking owl pendant
- 3 recipe cards from 1984 - 1 pie recipe to lure owls, 2 poultry recipes that can be adapted for owls, if you wish

In one of my college science classes we had to search through dried owl poops full of mice bones, and then put the mice bones back together to make a nice mouse skeleton.



I'm not sure what I learned by it.



I don't trust owls because tootsie roll commercials taught me not to. Those bastards will steal your lollipops.

I know this owl very well. We once flapped though an Entenmann's factory, dipping our talons into sweet coffee cakes.

You should never trust an owl because owls steal your lollipops then mislead you about the amount of licks required to reach the center of your sucker. Also they never learn people's names and constantly just say who regardless of how many times you've met.

You should never trust an owl because it can look at you anywhere. Even if you're standing behind it, it can still see you. Those dang huge eyes, and not to mention the fact that all owls, of course, can turn their heads all the way around.

I loved your design, by the way. :)
