I heard that once scoring is finished, if Threadless does not contact you within a week, they won't be contacting you at all. Does this sound accurate?

the time limit is 90 days usually, though tees have been printed later than that

I generally start to lose hope after about 3 weeks... but I guess it's technically possible to still get a print after that time.

I can handle a three week wait. Thanks for the comments about this, another alumni had quoted the one week timing on a blog on Emptees, so I thought I would check and see if it was actually true.

I would say percentage wise most are probably within the first week, but one of mine came after two weeks. I've heard of people getting a print notification after a couple of months though, so there are no hard and fast rules.

Thank you. Good info, all interesting. I'm not holding my breath, of course.

Thanks, Andy! I think in the end the final decision comes down to a group of art directors, too, not just the score. My friend actually toured Threadless as part of a graphic design conference a couple years back. She also said it seemed like a great place to work. Very hip!

I just remembered someone posted a blog about how long people waited for their print notification. Here were the scientific results:

One day wait: 9 people
A few days: 8 people
One week: 15 people
Two weeks: 10 people
One month: 8 people
Two months: 5 people
Three months: 2 people
Almost a year: 3 people

Thanks, opifan. Okay, wow. That is some serious variety in how long. Ugh. I guess when we agree to the 90 days, we agree to the 90 days. But a year? Good Lord.
