Tattoozles.

I've been wanting to get a tiny tattoo for a year or two now. I just want a little music note - because I know I'm basically never going to quit liking music. Ha.

Anyway, I started with wanting it on the back of my neck, so it's easy to hide and easy to show, but I've always sorta wanted it on the inside of my wrist or about here-ish (and loooooads smaller). Only problem with that would be attempting to hide it when it comes time to get a big kid job.

Anyone have any suggestions? Preferred placement? Or if anyone has had experience with any of those 3 locations and could offer advice, that'd be pretty neat. :)

dont get a tattoo if the only thing you can do is think about how to cover it up

that doesnt make sense, get it because you want it, and for you who cares if you see it jobs now are really not that uptight about tattoos

My movie theater job currently is uptight about a co-worker's nose ring, ha.
I figured I'd be going into an advertising/web design place so they probably won't mind toooo much.

And no way on the lip. Ouch.

I'd recommend not doing it on the hand. At least if it's on the inside of the wrist you could cover it with a bracelet if some tightwad boss thought it was inappropriate.

If you are going to get it on the wrist keep it really small. A guy that I know has tattoos on his forearms and absolutely regrets it because he hates wearing short sleeves now. Ankle is also something you could look at. No neck though. If you want to wear a nice dress to dinner or something, it would suck to want to hide it. A lot of girls get tattoos on their lower abdomen where their panties cover it up or right above your bathing suit bottom. That's easy hide. I would never be able to decide on what to get for a tattoo, so I will never try.

Mine is on my upper back, between my shoulder blades. It's relatively easy to hide, and you don't really have to worry about it being visible for a job because you probably won't be that exposed at work anyway.
The only bad thing is that tattoos HURT on the bone :/

i hate how society judges u for having a tattoo.. its just body art.. people are ignorant

I don't think its all about other people judging you. It's more about you not wanting the tattoo anymore or not wanting to show it during certain moments. Its just like having a wristwatch be permanent on your wrist. You would get pretty tired of it sometimes and want to take it off. Other times you love it. Society is always going to judge you, just like you will always judge other people. That's life.

I'm actually going to get white ink, so that'll solve most problems. Now it's up to me to decide what/where for sure - since white ink opens up a whole world of possibilities that I had shot down previously. Haha.

I do appreciate the advice/help/etc.
