This video has been doing the rounds today but oh my it's so good. I think it's actually the best thing I've seen in about three years - perhaps ever. That encompasses all art, illustration, animation, film, girls, boobs, sunsets, EVERYTHING. It's what eyes are made for.

Beautiful.

I saw a Stacey Rozich exhibition in SF this summer - her work is stunning.
I think mine would have to be Kurt Vile's 'Smoke Ring for my Halo'. It's not instant - very much a slow-burner and not exactly ground breaking but it's a fantastic record all the same. I got to see him in Oakland as well supporting Thruston Moore in July - amazing gig.

UPDATE! I've just started a competition via my blog to win a cack-handed illustration of your favourite album of 2011 by me! Click here for more info!

Other notable mentions to Fucked Up, Will Oldham and Fleet Foxes.

Best compilation is Finders Keepers second collection of Pakistani dance-floor belters 'Life id Dance'.

And best record I got this year even though it came out years ago would be Scott Walker's 'Scott 4'.

How about you?

I suppose I should squeeze in best film too - either 'Beats, Rhymes and Life' or 'Submarine'.
Hey all - votes and comments welcome on this sub - a remake of the ace Ratkiss design 'Flora and Fauna'.

I'm taking a break from Threadless for a bit to concentrate on doing some painting and making prints and zines etc so won't be subbing until 2012. Heart-breaking I know - be strong people.

How about a blog to list all the Etsy shop keepers on here?

Here's my shop.

I'm not sure if this has been done before - if it has someone point me at the blog and I'll delete this one. I'm just trying expand my circle a bit. Which sounds perverse frankly...
Does it take a while for street team points to update or am I just doing it wrong with my links from other websites?
I'm having some teething problems with Society 6 - help!

I want to upload some artwork to accompany a forthcoming Threadless tee however the image is only 200dpi and 40cm x50cm. Usually when I work I do a Vector clean-up at the end for print etc but in this instance the image I sent to Threadless wasn't vectorised as I didn't have access to Illustrator at the time. Whilst I'm confident the artwork will be clean enough for a tee shirt I'm not convinced it'll hold up to be printed larger scale for a giclee print.

I've just tried cleaning it up for Society 6 but it loses some of it's charm in doing so and I'm also aware it'll be ever-so-slightly different from the Threadless artwork which could be misleading for people.

Any ideas what I should do? Can you limit the size of print available on Society 6? And what kind of size is suitable for artwork on Society 6 that isn't vectorised - I'm pretty sure 200 dpi isn't enough...

Any ideas? I'm such a control freak I'm tempted to just not do Society 6 but I know a few people that want the artwork as a print.

I actually failed slightly in that I didn't mark some as $ but that's some bromance right there. And there's more...

Plus I put him in my latest zine.

What have you done for Mitch lately?
I've just booked my flight to SF for the summer - I'll be there in three weeks until the end of July. Anyone want to play with me while I'm out there? I'm up for creative/beer related adventures.

After two months of non-activity which included me moving house, my girlfriend moving countries and much tiresome marathon training I return with not one but two designs! Any love and warm wishes will be gladly appreciated! Try to ignore the fact one design is a rework and the fact that despite spending many hours agonizing over various design decisions I managed to use the same font in both promotions!

If it weren't for Guided By Voices I'm not sure I would've coped to be honest. Here's to GBV and all who sail with them!
Seems to be a little quiet this week - has everyone left for the festive period? Lost in snow flurries? Doing something more productive!?

My latest submission (this isn't a blatant spam or attempt to promote it I promise) seems to have the least votes I've ever received for a design.
