i just surgerised a couple of tees with my trusty overlocker:


'poker hand values' got a ringer scoop neck and 3/4 length sleeves


'understanding bird song' got a small scoop and a little bow :)

cos wearing normal tees gets boring for girls, no?

my hi arrived in kids size 12 because i love the green; happy to report it fits fine. for reference, here's my usual girly small with age 12 HI! underneath


and a medium 99 luftballoons (which seems to be nearly the same as the small?)


the sleeve and body length is pretty much the same. so if you like the kids' colours and you're small or medium, go for it! i think an even smaller girl could wear the age 10, too.

isn't it totally annoying when you have a great design idea then forget it?
to counter this i try to write down all my ideas in a notepad but this often backfires. for example my current list reads:

cloudbusting
lucky
fibonacci
atoms - very small things
stitched up
folded banknote
oil rainbow
elephant juice / isle of view
flip flop flyin'
stag on wall

i can't for the life of me remember what embryonic ideas 'lucky' or 'atoms' refer to. i think the next ones to be developed will be cloudbusting and elephant juice.

what a waste of a great concept.. i love fawns, i love the colours, the deer on the front is pretty cute.. but those spots aren't convincing enough. i want them a bit more random/mis-shaped, and probably in tan rather than white. right now it looks a little like a bird crapped down the model's back.

i was playing cluedo with my sister and ma at the weekend and thinking again about how much i want this shirt.. now here it is! sweet.

i'm the worst vegetarian ever.. thought this was so hilarious i had to order it. i'm going to carnivore hell.
