I am using Illustrator and ned a gif file for my thumbnail but it refuses to let me save with a .gif at the end of the file name. ANY HELP?

save it to your desktop, open that up as a regular pic, and save it again as a gif.

tried that too but uploader refuses it anyway....

open your file in illustrator then "save for web"
