A brand-name shirt about refusing brand names.

It's nice - couldn't we have done without the preachy pseudo-counter-culture tirade on the back?

If I can think of something to screenprint over that text, though, I'd get it.

Totally agree. Was about to buy it, till I noticed the naff text on the reverse.

I buy adbusters like a good boy, but I don't fancy sporting anyone's overt belief meme on my back

maybe if the tshirt was hand made, but otherwise it is just blatenly contradicting itself

Triple agreed. The black spot, though not worth a $15 tee, is just a fun design element, and the juvenile, commercialesque creed on the back just ruins it.

Agreed. But bought it anyway, and will figure something out later.

This is stupid.. if it was going to be about non-branding it should just be a BLANK TEE! But instead we get some melodramatic anti-brand brand and a cliche "individuality" statement on the back..

Sextuple agreed. Bunch of communists.

Even if it was the black spot alone it'd be a bit shit. A bit 'emperor's new clothes'.

just keep in mind that when this tee was originally printed threadless was a very very small company. (although it is quite ironic that the design is printed on fotl, a brand name company)

dont get me wrong though, i think adbusters is good. well the ideas behind it are good. but they did kind of claim the culturejamming movement and turn it into a profitable magazine, which is bad. or maybe its not. i dont know, its still the best magazine on the rack by far.

@Bramish;
"Emperors new Clothes" describes this shirt (and consequently many others on this site lately) to a (raises a hand coyly to his lips) "Tee."
