So I returned a Mission:Impossible hoodie hoping to get a size up but when the mail carrier gets to the Threadless address on Saturday he decides to not leave the package and leaves a notice that someone will need to pick the package up.

Well, that means the USPS is NOT going to attempt to redelivery, my tracking number shows it sitting in a post office all lonely and not one clown at the Post Office will help. They say that the reciever being Threadless has to request a redelivery.

What makes this frustrating is that my in my emails back and forth with Threadless I keep getting told that they think the USPS probably redelivered it and it'll get processed. No one is reading that part where I say that the post office will not redeliver unless asked and that my tracking number shows it sitting at the post office.

I can cross fingers and maybe thier right, but I am 90% sure they are wrong and this package will get sent back. After that I'm not sure if it's worth paying for shipping again and rolling the dice on whether the package will get delivered.

I know this isn't a customer service forum, but email tag and douchy USPS people have me needing to vent.

And nothing against Dustin who's been emailing me, I wish I could say I believe you're right, but my tracking number and two seperate USPS people have told me it isn't going to show up.

My question is, if USPS re-deliver on Monday like he said, why is my package the hated outcast.

:( It seems like all postal services are out to drive people insane.

I'm considering trying to fake being the reciever on the redelivery but it I think I might need some of the info from the notice. I don't want to fake it, get it wrong and have it get lost forever.

And when I asked why they don't automatically attempt redelivery like UPS or FedEx they waffled and eventually said they sometimes do but it depends on the carrier.

They couldn't answer why a big organization like the USPS didn't have any standard guidelines for all carriers to follow.

I really just wish that Threadless had a customer service number. They could tell if they could help me or not in one go. Instead I kind of feel like I'm getting slightly edited standard form replys.

Oh well. I guess my diet needs to ramp up my diet.

Hey Skeev- weirdness. They should just redeliver if we aren't there on Sat. They do that with our shipments all the time. Not sure why they won't with this one. I just replied back to your email. Email us the tracking number and we can call USPS and give them a smackdown.

Thank you so much. I just emailed you the tracking number. If you can, let me know if any issues come up with getting the package redelivered.

That's a relief. Thanks again.

Needless to say, I am never sending any package through the USPS again.

Brianne has been very helpful with trying to get this package redelivered but the damn post office will not cooperate.

They won't redeliver the package and they told them that they couldn't even find the package when they went to the post office for it. The postage due thing is crap because they figured the postage...how could it be wrong?

Some lady on the 800 number gave me the direct number to the post office it's supposed to be at, the one at 1343 W Irving Park Rd, but for the last hour or so of repeated attempts all I get is a busy signal.

I am seriously considering just buying the 2xl of Untitled: Impossible hoodie since there's only 11 left because who knows if and when my xl will ever show up.

This is the last time I trust anything to this ass backwards postal service. I have never experianced this kind of dodgy customer service with any other delivery service.

Thanks to Brianne and Threadless again for trying your best. I'll email you back if I find out anything.

I think Canada has been my worst mailing problem typically. If I order stuff from there it gets shipped and takes 2-3 weeks sometimes to get to the US but as soon as it hits the US it takes a day or two to get to me.

Packages I've recieved from Europe generally get here pretty quick too.

Just got an email, Threadless got the package and are processing my return.

Whooooooooo!

Funny thing is the tracking never updated so it makes me wonder what ever happened to it in the between time.

I think the mail carrier kept it. Took it to bars. Maybe a football game.
