basically, the problem is, my parents don't wanna compromise their credit card number because they're just paranoid that way - even after i pointed out that so many people have been doing it for so long and everything.

anyway, i'm just wondering if there's any other way i can order and pay for shirts, like cheques or something.

Hmmm...

Perhaps not.

But, try and reason it out with them after they've had a bit of time to breathe. Explain to them that the card number isn't even stored by threadless, I'm pretty sure it's sent in two halves, so it'd be pretty tough to steal it. I know my parents were a bit worried at first, too.

Don't they sell rechargable credit or debit cards now for teens?

I think there are a few ways you could do it. I'm almos sure that you can buy Visa or Mastercards like gift cards where you charge it for a certain amount when you buy it, like a gift card.

They also have card where yout parents would charge it with thier card and then you could use it for ordering and it's rechargable. I believe that parents have been using that more and more for allowances.
