I have a design I want to submit but I have two questions.

1. Do I have to use the t shirt templates threadless provides? because I already have my own.

2. If my design is selected the rules say that I will be asked to give high resolution artwork. Does that just mean that I increase the required 150 Resolution for the art when they ask?
