I just saw this today too. Yea for mezo entries!

On a side not, there are a ton if ugly entries! Just cuz it can be made into a pattern doesn't mean it should be. And for awhile there I thought I was scoring a fractal contest!

It's the file size compression being so shit. Cotton Candy, for example, is nice and subtle smooth at actual size.

I like the last one best.

This challenge is weird to vote on because a few of them look really good on the templates they provide. Patterns are a lot weirder to score for me than graphics. I think I got a hang of it though. Just score all plaid designs low.
