but these all seem to be from the same repeat offenders, or people who just haven't gone to design school from the look of it. i don't think you'll have a problem at all because you have actual concepts, good and crazy ones.

most users here though are pretty dumb (the anonymous ones that never comment) they vote a lot of great stuff down and i'm afraid they'd do the same to your two designs you have in critiques because they are afraid of anything remotely strange. if that happens don't let it deter you because votes don't really matter that much anyway, threadless knows what's fresh and what sucks.

Yeah I did notice I've been seeing a BUTTLOAD of birds! I don't mind being voted down-- as long as someone gets SOME reaction, even hatred, I am happy. ;) The worst is just the "eh, whatever."
I've been seeing lots of phone lines too, now that you mention it... and clouds shooting out rainbows.. do people unconsciously influence each other?!?

overdone concepts. um.. shirts that look like other types of shirts or outfits.. mind you this can be done in a good way, but usually they are not. nipple shirts and hairy chest shirts are not the way to go.

ginettes right though, with your designs you dont have to worry about doing an overdone concept, they are pretty unique. I really love them and look forward to $5ing them when they are up for voting.

Yeah I just saw that nipple shirt, seemed pretty boring. I wish MY nipples were bubblegum pink, but sadly they are just brown :D

I hadn't seen your critiques before, but just took a look, they're amaaaaaazing! I don't think you have anything to worry about. And personally, I think that no 'concept' should be avoided just cos it's been done, as long as you can do something new, or better.

people will get tired of cats, and they might be already, i dont know.. if they are, I carry some of the blame for that having submitted several cat themed shirts myself.
