TWON (a.k.a.) Nathanael Thayer Moss was born in Ocean Springs, Mississippi in 1982, and lived there for twenty-one years before moving north to attend the Rhode Island School of Design. In 2007, he moved to Portland. His work is influenced by his interests in the dynamics of silicon valley, laser technology, supernatural electronic beings/entities, iconic imagery from various cultures & subcultures, reality vs. fantasy, parallel universes, system failures, pre-determined destiny, precision vs. disorder, free association, alternate endings, eyesores, visual aesthetic pleasure, symmetry vs. asymmetry, altered states vs. sobriety, and the coexistence of simplicity & complexity (microcosm vs. macrocosm). He is interested in exploring the dimensions of space and time that act as a barrier between consciousness and pure enlightenment, how memory acts as a variable in the process of physical and sonic evolution, and where and when the future exists… TWON is currently working on a solo electronic sound project called NIGHT HEALTH and is also a member of the experimental music group, ROBOCLOPS.
