hey @chanirules, know this is totally late, but it's actually pretty easy to refit a mens' t shirt into a girly one. Well with a sewing machine, it takes a little longer and to do it right by hand. I know because I have a long torso and going by the size info my chest is 3 sizes larger than my waist so I end up fixing t shirts all the time because the girly ts are too short anyway. Just buy the size up in mens (actually you can just get your size in men's, I tend to size up because I want extra room to work with because of my bust and I hate men's necklines so I fool with those too) , cut the seams, fold the extra in and pin (outside to outside), turn inside out, sew, cut off the extra. voila!
That said, totally second the desire for long/tunic girlie shirts because low rise jeans plus long torse plus short girls shirts = not so fun.
Totally dig this design, would be awesome vinyl sticker for laptop!
