Slogans and Darwinism...

I feel like I'm competing against the Law of Natural Selection when it comes to which slogans survive the textile jungle. I've seen some great slogans generated here and wonder what criteria (besides high rankings) is used to determine which slogans get picked. I've been churning them out like butter because I love being creative and hope someday to see one of mine on a tee.

As they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure. In other words, what some may not like in a slogan, hopefully, most will appreciate.

Threadless likes to print slogans they find original, that would look good only as type, would inspire a desire to create a nice type treatment specifically for ths shirt, and have gotten decent responses. The required rating for print goes from 40-80%'s. but I believe the average is somewhere between 55-60%

I voted on many of yours as well.

I've recently learned that high percentages don't really have much to do with getting a slogan picked. Good percentages (probably above 55% or so) will help, but you definitely don't need it to be at...say...83%, to get printed. It's ultimately up to what the people at threadless think will make a good addition to their line.
