PUMPKIN PIE?

I am officially very jealous. I LOVE pumpkin pie. I used to hate it when I was little, but since a few years ago, I love it.
My best friend once told me he hated his relatives because when they came over, they ate most of a pumpkin pie his mom had bought, which made him angry.

I never liked it when I was little, but I love it now. I guess it's a little more acquired. My dad makes the crust and it's just amazing :) I'll stop, heh.

But dark chocolate is awesome.. it's far more delicious and it goes a million times better with coffe.

Trader Joe's has a big display of pumpkin cake/muffin mix and pumpkin pie filling now...it makes me hungry whenever I go there. I should bug my mom to make one...her crusts have gotten a lot better since my sister started making her actually use butter (they used to be cement-like).

cement-like is definitely not good. Flaky is the way to go. I think we use a crisco/butter blend.

Talkin' about my average score, Staf? Yeah, I don't like much, and score highly only that which I do. Thems the breaks...

As for pumpkin pie, I love it. I don't know if I hated it when I was a kid, as I was afraid to eat it. Shit, we only made jack o' lanterns out of those things, I didn't know you were supposed to eat 'em too! Now, though, I really love it. A good butter crust can't be beat no matter the pie. I've got a really good cranberry/cherry pie that'd rip your pants off and make a man/woman outta ya.
