Seems like no matter what color I design a shirt on, there's always someone who says "That is an awful color for a shirt. Why would you do that? Are you crazy? Were you in a horrible car crash as a kid that gouged out half your brain? Is that why you would make a shirt in this color?"

So I got to thinking. What is a good shirt color? I know everyone had their preferences, but is there any color that people can agree on? What's your favorite color for a shirt?

Ooh yes, burgundy.
I also love Kelly green but despise khaki.
I suppose the colours will have all changed now, I wonder if there is a Threadless colour chart anywhere.

I own a lot of silver shirts, they seem like a safe bet with people but I'm gettin pretty boooored of them. Red and purple and mint make my eyes dance.

i loved AA's mint and seafoam. i like creme, but only the new threadless custom version. AA's creme is terrible. i also like all shades of purple, aqua/teal, gold, and yellow.

i also seem to be one of the VERY few people who like white shirts.

I love AA's mint and seafoam! Their lime is good, too.

For some reason (and it's not apparent on this site, but elsewhere it is), I design on greens more than anything else. Maybe it's because most of my clothes are green.
Burgundy sounds like a good bet.

For some reason, nobody likes white. It seems like it's one of the Seven Deadly Sins of Threadless. Thou shalt not put designs on white!

really it depends on the design, it has to work with the shirt color, but as far as most shirts go, i like light blue

I love brights and jewel tones -- there aren't enough purple shirts on Threadless to fill my insatiable need.

Since meeting Spouse, I have developed an appreciation for greens and oranges -- two color groups which I formerly wore rarely and never, respectively. Now that I have children who are still in the "dashing out of one's immediate vicinity at crowded festivals" phase, I have also gained a new love for neon colors (also called "airport shirts").

My designs

All about me
Graphic designer by day, comic artist by night!
Actually, I usually don't start work until noon, so it's more graphic designer by late evening, comic artist by night.
I've designed lots of t-shirts before (for my comics) but finally decided to try doing this.
