HILARY- I would support if she got the nomination but I would never cast my vote for her today because of the repeated attacks on Obama, latest being she saw the polls and said she was way ahead in the white working class and people who didn't attend college implying that Obama has only black and college students. She added, that he doesn't reach out enough to everyone and she can reach a wider demographic of people, haha. With what? Reaching out and having a beer isn't really saying much other then what we heard from Clinton, "I feel your pain". Clinton also stated early in the race that she knows McCain would be a strong president with experience and she has years of experience to bring to the table and Obama has a speech he gave in 02. This to me was basically an endorsement for McCain over Obama which she has since said she would support the democratic nominee if it were Obama. hmm.

OBAMA-
Heres the thing Obama is the first one I hear speak, and I think to myself, that's what I'm thinking, we do need to stop corporate companies from making mass profits and making taxing in terms to how much you make, people should not be able to make 2 billion a year when someone is living in a car because they couldn't afford medical surgery. Also Obama's speech about race in America to me as a mixed race individual was on par with how I imagine people felt in the 60's for King, people keep saying he is Black or not black enough or a secret Muslim lol, whatever, that doesn't matter, he is Barak Obama, what matters is his character and his stance of issues. He never voted for Iraq war, Hilary not only did but refused to acknowledge it as a mistake.

MCCAIN
Then we have big guns McCain, to the question of Bush seeing us over there for 50 more years, McCain said. "heh, why not a 100". Also to those that don't know McCain originally voted to not have MLK recognized on MLK day, later he changed his vote and said the reason he voted that way before is because when he was growing up, in a small town there were not many black people around and then in the military he just wasn't exposed to the civil rights movement but has since talked to many people about him and agrees that he was a great man and deserves the highest. But would we really want a president who simply cries ignorance? I can't even buy that he didn't know of MLK. McCain equals more of the same. But to be clear, I think McCain is a great guy, a war hero in his day. But lets face it, his day was a long time ago. Things are changing fast and I don't think he could keep up. Or offer anything in terms of an alternative to Bush.

MORE OBAMA-
Obama equals a chance at revolutionizing the world we live in, I know he stands for justice and peace. No war, decriminalization of marijuana, he stands for being open minded to differences ie race, gender, income ect. But more importantly he makes me feel some kinda something for the possibility that politics with the right person could make a huge difference, like back with JFK. I have hope that he will stand up for health care even though he receives money form the corrupt insurance co's, just as with Hilary and everyone else in politics for that matter which is no excuss, it's bull. I hope that he ends the war immediately. I hope a lot of things, but it's Obama that has given that, no other.

NADER
But that does bring us to Nader. I agree with Nader, we need a single parent health care system, like Canada and 41 other industrialized nations and corps should be capped, a more socialized movement only makes sense when we see such a huge gap between rich and poor, middle class is slipping into poor status. But this is a 180 turn around and the powers that be will try anything to make it not happen and most others are afraid that it's not possible for Nader to run against the big D and R money-wise. Plan ahead and grow support and funding then he could have a chance, but right now I very much think he will be taking votes that would be going to Obama or democratic nominee and after 2 elections and 8 years of Bush I don't want to see another Bush I mean McCain in office because Nader wasn't patient and didn't recongize the need for unity now to prevent us from moving backward. So I say, Nader, not yet. This step first then when people see the possibilities and that they made it happen, they won't vote out of fear but based solely on the issues.

RON PAUL
Ron Paul, he is an isolationist, supports reversing Roe vs Wade and has no plans on changing the health care system we have now, as an ex-doctor he stronly supports life begining at conception. Paul stated to expect hand outs ie: social security and health care is pointless because the government doesn't have that money, but he fails to say what would happen if the trillion dollar war ended, what it would do for funding a universal health care plan. But there is one good thing, he doesn't support the war and wants pot legal. I can't really look past the massive movement for him supporting everyone having a gun and the roe/wade issue along with no health care change idea for pot being legal and a war ending. Not to mention Ron Paul had very racist comments made years ago that really disturbed me, then there was him standing next to Nixon, a lot of bad for him, and I think he confuses voters into supporting him because of the anti war and pro pot issue.

WRAP UP
If you don't usually vote or don't know yet who for, take time to listen to whole speeches, read about these people and why they think you should vote for them. Be fully informed and check facts out for yourself. Then vote, if you don't vote or vote based on the surface of politics, you really have no reason to complain. I dunno, what do you all think, who should it be? Why? I say OB in 08!
