Cat Love: AIM messaging: How do you tell people that your critique is up for scoring

My first decent project is up for scoring in the 'Pre-Loved' contest. Some folk from the critiques pages wanted me to notify them when it was up for scoring, but I don't know how.

Do I have to download AIM? Is there any other way?

e-mail. Facebook. MySpace. Friendster. call up your grandma and walk her through setting up a modem and logging on to AOL.

and make flagrant use of that "Share this Design" to the right of your sub, below the score box.

No, I mean particular people whose contacts I otherwise don't have. Some folk were helpful in the critiques and asked that I tell them when it's up. I am wondering if there is a way of contacting users privately.
