Since my recent submission:
![]() Go vote! I've noticed a lot more flash submssions, and they pretty much all have better image quality than mine. First I tried compressed .jpg, but those were too big, so then I used .gifs. Those were better, but I had to completely can one of the slides, and then my models were sacrificed for the sake of the design slide. How in the heck are you guys getting your flash files under 250 kb and maintaining image quality, even for 3 slides instead of just two? I am but a padiwan in Flash design, theach me the ways of the Flash. *bows down to your great awesomeness*

I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.

Slide 1 is a Gif, 128 colors. About 120kb
2. also a gif, 64 colors. about 70 kb
3. a jpg, at about 60 quality. about 60 kb.
I have a loader image, which is 8k.
It took me like 2 hours playing around with settings to get it under 250 (It weighs in at 248kb).
You have to balance size and quality.
Also, I think in your sub, you would have been better off making the 1st a .gif, and the 2nd a .jpg.
Oh, but I noticed you used the texture pack in slide 1. I had those in mine, but had to nix them to get 3 slides under 250. Otherwise, the quality was horrible.
Hope I helped!
