Well with an average of 1.71, Guerrilla Gorillas is toast.

It was a nice learning experience though and I wouldn't mind submitting another Guerrilla Gorilla attempt.

Meantime, for anyone who was actually interested in the shirt, you can buy it from me here: http://paramo.wordans.com/my/boutique

Thanks again for everyone's votes (especially those 5'ers hehe)

Just curious, what criteria do you hold for giving out a 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5?

After having gone through one rating process, and then having filed through the catalog, not even the winners seem to get above a 3 average normally.

I might be a little liberal in my rating.
0 is for proven copies.
1 is for a design that's obviously lacking effort or is just plain miserable.
2 is for a design that looks like the person tried but just didn't have the right stuff to make it happen.
3 is for a design that is good, but doesn't hold any interest for me personally.
4 is for a design that is impressive and piques my interest, but that I wouldn't buy.
5 is for a design I think is really great and often enough wouldn't have thought of myself. I would consider purchasing.
5 and a Buy is for a shirt I would absolutely buy and wear often.

So I just recently submitted my first would-be t-shirt, Gorilla Warriors, though now I kind of wish I named it Guerrilla Gorillas. In any case, I tried to make a design I would wear and I think I succeeded. Of course, that's up to the community and the honchos to decide. In any case, I'm going into this hopeful, though the pending wait is slowly eating at me. I'll be lurking the site every five minutes for the next 2 weeks...

Happy Val Day all, btw. And good luck to everyone in the Rob and Big contest. There is some serious talent on this site. I would have thrown my hat in, but I was blown away with the submissions and couldn't really find an idea worthy to put next to the rest. I can't wait for the next contest, though.

As a side note, does anyone know of any other t-shirt sites that accept open submissions, or any other ways a freelance artist like myself could earn some coin?

Best,
Rob
