So I finally went out and visited the Threadless shop in Chicago, and it was great. I got the Green shirt because it's a really cool design and it's one of the few 'environmental' themed shirts that gets its point across without beating you over the head with it. The whole 'urban meets natural environment' theme is also particularly relevant when living in a big city. Go check out the brick and mortar store if you want more than a cool t-shirt. The atmosphere is very cozy and modern. Each shirt has its own lcd screen over the shelf with the name of the artist and other information about the shirt. While you're there you can also check out some fresh artwork in the upstairs gallery. There were some prints on the walls from various new artists. And they give you a free tote bag when you buy a shirt so that when you come back you can use it again and save a dollar too.
