i'm starting on my next design project, but i need some pictures of knight helmets to go by.
i've looked in all the usual internet-picture-finding places, but the majority of what i'm finding is the wrong kind. i need the kind with one of those slotted visor things in the front. can anybody point me to a website where i could find some like i need?
"Where Helium Comes From" has been approved and the voting has begun!
I'm proud of this submission, and I think it has a good chance of getting printed, so I'd like to get as many votes (and comments) as possible to help make that happen! ...and I really don't have many other places to promote this, because my internet presence isn't quite as large as it used to be.
yeah, so i keep seeing all of these designs being submitted that have "secret parts" that show up in the dark thanks to glow in the dark ink, which are still visible in the light...thanks to glow in the dark ink.
i just feel like the glow in the dark ink isn't being used to its full potential here. if someone submits a decent design that uses glow in the dark ink for "this design is so cool it needs to show up at night, too" reasons rather than its "hiding things in the daylight from people with bad eyesight" properties, i promise to automatically give the design a 5 and click the "I'd buy it" checkbox. about My Pet Human
I used to think that I would never be able to buy a Threadless shirt because they don't accept Paypal, but now I have a way to buy them thanks to a little plastic card! Yay!This is the best shirt ever in the history of shirts...I've watched it get reprinted twice, and had to think "Awww I wish I could get one" both times...but if it ever gets reprinted again, I'll be able to get one! In fact, I plan on buying two. ...at once.
I'm still working on the Zombees design, but I made up a new little design to pass the time at work last night (I love my job).
It's called Personal Space Invaders. I don't like the ground in this design though...most of the negative feedback in the critique is about it as well, so I don't think anyone does. But...I have no idea what to do to make it better, so I thought I would post in the blog about it, since my critique keeps getting buried under stuff like "Michael Jordan" and "Supershirt". Thanks in advance!
Tonight I made a new shirt design instead of working on a fake Broadway musical poster in my graphic design class like I was supposed to be doing.
It is called "Zombees", and it is currently up in the Critique section! I would like to know what people think of my first attempt at using what is a slightly-new drawing technique for me. In other news, I have always sucked at drawing trees.
so, after i posted my last blog entry, i decided to look at the full catalog, and apparently that My Pet Human shirt is still available...which is great...because it's the best shirt ever made.
i thought i would post in my blog...since it's here.
so...yeah. i'm new. i found out about threadless several years ago through a (former) friend...got everyone i knew with internet access to vote to have a certain shirt reprinted, only to realize after it got reprinted that i didn't have any way to order one for myself. it was a yellow shirt with a robot and a little girl on it...listening to a record player. it was possibly the best shirt ever and...now i'm just getting sad thinking about the fact that i don't have it. anyway, i'd like to close by thanking whoever is taking the time to go through all of my critiques and clicking "don't submit" on every single version without leaving comments that would help me improve my stuff instead. |
I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.
