Moving into a new place soon, and I can't help but think that I'm forgetting to buy something that is important. I have everything for my bedroom and bathroom, I think everything for my kitchen and there are a few things on my list that I still need to get for my living room, but I just have this feeling in the back of my head that I'm forgetting something. If you would like to help, list a few things off that it could be. If you don't want to help, um, well, *sigh* here's some dancing monkeys

cleaning supplies are taken care of, my dad works for a big cleaning supply company

food is too far out of the picture, i guess when i said soon i really meant about a month and a half (move in aug 1)

door comes with a deadbolt, and i live in the midwest so i'm not too worried about someone breaking in

make sure you have a garlic press, one of the essential things in our kitchen

and otherwise, you will find out after some weeks living there what is missing.. especially when you want to bake or make some special meal..

i don't like garlic, and if i do it comes in salt form...lol

i'm kinda thinking it's going to be something really odd that i'll need...and i'll run around looking for it yelling "i know i bought one of those, where is it!" and acting like a complete idiot

an ice cream scooper
a vacuum, broom ( i guess that would be cleaning supplies though)
do you have a yard, patio or balcony? you will need a grill, etc.
air conditioner, fan
toaster oven coffee maker
curtains or blinds
new shower head
bath mat
first aid stuff

thats all i can think of right now that you may have forgotten about.

a pasta machine? lol seriously?!?
that mashed potato gadget seems like a lot of work, i'll just stick to boiling the potatoes then whipping them in a stand mixer

why lol? Homemade pasta is the best thing since I don't know what..

I don't like the texture of mashed potatoes if you mash them with a mixer.. but I don't have the thing above.. we mash it with something similar but

I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.

All about me
I'm currently enrolled at ISU as a Marketing/Management major. I have a limited amount of art classes (mostly H.S.), so don't expect too much from me in the design area (and if I actually do submit things, they probably won't be very good). My first job was at a movie theater, and because of that I own about 200 movies, so if I quote from movies or tv shows a lot, don't hold it against me. I'll watch just about any sport except baseball, and I've been playing soccer since I was 7.
