yes this has potential! I like the anvil, it has that classic Loony Tunes vibe. an Anchor would be my second choice
Maybe the old guy and kid could be in scuba suits, a sea lion could be the dog, and there could be some kind of giant colorful fish as the bird thingy.

Oh, I didn't get the underwater thing. Yeah, an anchor makes sense. I love the idea of having a seahorse or sea lion.

I was thinking seal or sea lion because they already have the fur and the whiskers and dog-like nose, although a shark could work too. I think for a good parody the characters should readily evoke their counterparts.
