...that the option was available to purchase a girls' tee with girls' names on it, rather than guys' names.

...But I suppose I'm in the minority on that sentiment. Ah, well.

i agree. i think it's an awesome shirt and i'm queer... maybe i'll get the guy's version, although i'm a girly small and it probably would be waaay too big.

I think that you should be able to get the girls names on the girls shirt (and boys on boys), too.
I really like it but I won't buy it with the guys names.

Yep. Maybe in the reprint. Us queer ladys should get threadless to do it!

Why does everyone think they should have shirts printed just for them? These people run a business... gotta go where the money is. Why print a shirt that only a small percentage will be interested in? That would be a terrible business decision.

Hey, getagrip15, I hear you man, but there IS a queer population here on threadless. I'm just saying that if enought of us want it we should ask threadless to do it. No harm in asking.

Yeah, there is something nicer about all the girls names, just visually. There are more of them on the guys shirt which makes it look better.

I love this design b/c the text is hand done. I think it is very well executed shirt and I think it's nice that Theadless countedit as one shirt even thought they had to make two totally different screens (or whatever).

I'm not understanding why some people are having such a negative attitude about this idea. It's just a suggestion. Getagrip15, it's not exactly the same as one person expecting to have something printed specially for them. There are legitimate reasons to support this idea. I don't feel like reiterating the whole spiel, so I'll just reference Wildy's post. (http://www.threadless.com/profile/126247/Wildy/16696/Limited_Edition_Gay_Versions) Besides, did I sound like I expected it to happen with what I said in my post? It was just a bit of whimsy.

Threadless is a company, yes, but they're also very communicative with their users. I've always found Threadless to be a very down-to-earth group of people. Why would they implement a product blogging feature if they weren't interested in their customers' suggestions and opinions? The whole site, after all, is built on the idea of peoples' choice. If all they cared about was making as big a profit as possible, do you really think they'd have these extravagant $10 sales all the time? That's quite a price reduction...

Tesko:
What do my shoes have to do with anything? Seems a bit uncalled for. Sorry, I'm not a fashionista.

Lilya:
I wear the girls' small also, but I buy the occasional guys' small to have a big, comfortable shirt to lounge around in. The girls' small is already loose on me, so I'm practically swimming in the guys' tee. I wouldn't buy a guys' shirt for this one though, because the sleeves just droop off of my shoulders, and that wouldn't be functional for this design.

I'm still buying the girls' shirt as it is. (I dislike the term 'bisexual'; I prefer to say that gender just isn't a factor for me.) But I'd still prefer an alternate version. And besides, I find the girls' names more aesthetically appealing, in the first place.

As long as we're wishing for things, I'm surprised no one's asked for a version with both guy's and girl's names.

stupid genderedness of everything. i think it would be great if there was a shirt with all sorts o'names on it bc "gay" versus "straight" shirts is getting idiotic. besides, many male-bodied people wear the "guy shirts" and many female-bodied people wear the "girly shirts".
