Oh man Holland and Japan should be epic! I'm a big fan of both teams so I'm split between who I want to win, but no doubt it'll be entertaining!

I didn't knew how the whole thing worked... so I was doing a lot of bad subs and captain switches. Some don't even start like Daniel Alves... So far I got Messi, Klose (red card wtf!) and now Gerrad as my captain.

Our backs is what I worry about..... van Marwijk (coach) handled that well: He put defensive midfielders van Bommel and de Jong to do the dirty work

I will just support any teams who are playing against England.

I really don't understand this. I mean, obviously people can support whoever they want and for whatever reason they want. I just don't get the 'anyone but x' attitude...

Oh and the Dutch fans are great, I love seeing them at every tournament!

A win but not convincing.

Thumbs down for Afellay could have squared the ball to Van Persie for a better goal scoring opportunity chose to shoot, had a great chance at goal and the keeper saved it.

Not especially convincing, bit of luck for the goal, but a win nonetheless and a solid performance. Van der Vaart and Sneijder don't really play well together. You can tell VdV wants to play where Sneijder is. Van Bommel was man of the match, IMHO.

You looked fairly comfortable throughout, though. But Japan are a good team, committed and well organised. They will always shut down chances to a minimum. Most teams would have struggled to create chances against them.

I also thought the ref in that games was FAAAANTAASTIC! He got virtually nothing wrong at all and managed to buck the trend of giving fouls for any player who fell over. He was excellent. Best performance of the world cup so far.
