depends how you want to work. i use illustrator because vector gives the cleanest lines but if you want to just scan a drawing and colour it in use photoshop.

neither one is superior, they each have their pros and cons. Illustrator is better used for nice, clean vector images, if you want to blow up or reduce the size of your work and not alter the quality, and photoshop is generally used more for finer detailed stuff, or if you want a more handrawn feeling or if you want to put textures (using simulated process) in your design.

I personally prefer Photoshop, but I know a lot of people like Illustrator.

Photoshop does vectors too, are they not as good as Illustrator vectors?

I use inkscape. It works out pretty well with me. You can use it in Windows or Linux.

probably the best way is to start in illustrator and then take it to photoshop if you want to add some fancy texture stuff.

I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.

All about me

inspiring designer since i 1st learned how to draw circles and arrows.
i started out with drawing cartoons at the age of 5 and then comics when i was 7 until i was 10 and then started experimenting with design when i randomly drew circles and ovals and came out with a picture of a plane by accident.
its a silly way to start off in designing but seeing how random things could interpret to something simple like a plane gave me a big mud slap to the face.
music has always inspired me.
i sometimes close my eyes when drawing with music in the background and start drawing whats exactly on my mind when im listening to music.
so yeah.
its something.
