well, i had a go at producing a few slogans - and i know realise just how difficult it is. the ideas i formulated were either cliché and trite or a little bit too cryptic. slogan writing is difficult, and i'm left wondering about what the best route of attack is. do you try to please all of the people, or a small group of people?
so i started to think about the purpose of a slogan. at a guess i'd say that slogans are a neat way to encapsulate and communicate an idea; but i need to put a bit more thought into this whole process. why do people wear slogans on shirts in the first place?? |
