Question about the scoring of Slogans..

Heya! (First of all, forgive my english... French inside)
Sry to create a blog post for this but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. I submitted a few slogans and most of them (7) have been scored 39times, not less, not more, so, is their a rules that tells slogans are scored by the first 39 ppl who vote ? Or is that just a coincidence..

They get voted for a while in the general section but to crack like 50 or so I think people actually need to come to your profile to view the slogans and vote on them, that'll crack the 39

no they tend to stop in certain areas and then go up. it takes a while.

Hehe Yeah seems that they fast hit 39vote then stop until someone come to your page. But how can someone come if your slogan doesnt appear anymore in the general section ? That's kinda weird... Or maybe we have to submit more and more slogans so that hopefully people will follow the profile link and read all slogans.. Don't know :)

ive always assumed if your slogans are doing good, such as high % of votes. then it will continue to be voted on by everyone if not then people have to go to your profile . . maybe? haha

I figured that is how many saw it on rotation before it was bumped outta the bubble on the loadup page.

can I join the shameless self promotion? Even if you don't feel like voting on all mine, please let me know what you think of my Ventrilquist slogan (right hand colum, third from the bottom), it's almost cracked 100 votes and I'd love to see it pass that benchmark.

Yeah about that, I liked the ventriloquist one, but I disliked the fact there are so many slogans of yours ^^ Too hard to read them all :p

Me, too Simpletin - I just joined and am trying a range to see what the crowd is into. I am glad I found this blog(?). I have been trying to figure out how the scoring works. I have yet to try a design here, but when I have more time . . .

I submitted 4 slogans: 2 on 2 separate days. It just so happens that the first set topped off at 50 votes and the second set topped at 41, but the second set did way better that the first, so I doubt they keep in on the main page based on votes. I'm curious how popular slogans that make it are. Does anyone have a slogan that won? What was it's percentage like?

Hey thanks for the link. That's funny, some choosed slogans only have 50votes for somethig like 40% "like it".. Strange : )

You can try resumitting by adding an extra space between a few of the words.

My latest slogan only seemed to appear on the voting page for about an hour after I submitted it, but it is the highest scoring one I have ever had. I've had to direct people to my profile to show it off. I've been curious as to how exactly the Type Tee process works as compared to the graphic designs. Is there a minimum percentage that is guaranteed to get your design noticed? I wonder...

No.. This is more complicated to prevent somehow spam 5$ vote maybe.. I don't know.. Of course votes count, but there is more than that, maybe the comments, the "$" ... I don't really know, as for slogan :)

I assume that threadless is leaving the promoting of the slogans to the writer. I can't see any other place - other than the thingie on the voting page - that individual slogans are featured. On the bright side, it might get you street team votes.
