hey, i came up with my first design, but now im trying to save a version of the large template i made in PS, and i cannot get it even near below 250kb. my res is 150dpi and its 640 x 553 and it won't get any lower than 1.3MB...help please?

save it as a lower quality JPG or...save for web as a Gif

you don't have to save the template version of your design at 150dpi, just your original artwork. 72dpi works fine.

are you saving for web?tht will decrease it dramaticaly!and save it as a gif or a not so hi jpeg, also your pixels are not correct make sure you get them bang on is it... 640 x 800 or something?get that correct or you wont be submitted

thanks guys, i submitted it at 640x533 cause i thought it had to be 640 wide, but it didnt have to be 800 height....i thought it said "no more than 800"



i hope it gets submitted.
