My parents and Grandparents taught me to always observe and appreciate the natural world.
With all the time in the world as a child, I spent hours playing outside, watching and studying nature in all is diversity and beauty.
As time past it appeared to accelerate and now as an adult with children of my own, this busy 'modern' life does not allow me to be submersed in nature as often as my soul wishes.

On a larger scale I feel that many of the problems we face in this world today can be attributed to our continual disconnection form the natural world. As we become more enveloped in all things man made we too readily forget what we truly are and where we have come from, which can only lead to suffering for ourselves and this planet we share.

So get off your computer and go for a walk!
