why do girly tees cost more?
wouldnt they cost less? i would imagine they wouldnt need as much material as the guys...unless im just completely wrong.

Girly tees are actually made by American Apparel, and not Fruit of the Loom.



American Apparel is made of better fabric, and has a more comfortable fit. That's why it's expensive. See: http://www.americanapparel.net for more.

because they're a more complicated cut of material, or something like that. even if the guys tee's were american apparel, they'd still cost less than girls tees.

it's really very simple. girly's cost threadless more, so they charge more as a result.

Rae that's actually not true. AA shirts are the same price for men and women (at least wholesale) $7.80 a shirt in case you were curious.

girls shirts are almost always more expensive because we are generally willing to pay more. in threadless's case though i think it is because american apparel are more expensive than fruit of the loom
