oh, science and technology. how could you not live up to the standards set by movies? i remember seeing "back to the future II," thinking all of that could be possible. but the movie was set in 2015 (only 7 years from now, mind you), and i've yet to see a hoverboard, flying car, or interactive 3d marquee movie ad for "jaws." so many scientists did think we would be doing/using such things by now (jet-pack transport, levitating houses), but lookie what we have here. this shirt just says it all (but of course i could increase the list ad infinitum). i could really use a robot right about now.

yeah, that's true about cellphones in general; remember those first carphones that took up so much space, and the first cells looked like bricks with an antenna attached. and cd's were weird, too; i had a hard time accepting those. i still have a special place in my heart for the cassette tape.
