Next outing: November 14, Portland Underground Tour! Come one, come all!!!

I want to get an idea of who can come, and what time on Saturday 11/14 you'd like to do the underground tour. They have tours beginning at 4, 6, and 8pm. The fact that we are going on a Friday the 13th weekend means that we will have a paranormal expert with us, lol.

Also, I should mention that tickets are $17 each. I will contact them to see if there's a group discount available, but for now, plan on that.

Yay, my company is sending me to San Fran (San Mateo, specifically) for a week in December. I'll be there December 6-12. I know Marbs and I are gonna have hangouts, but anyone else want to join us? I was thinking of doing somethin fun downtown the evening of Friday the 11th, maybe.

Hangouts, anyone? Biobot? Jublin? Jackanapes? RANDY? Who else lives in the San Fran area? Come hang out! :{D

Also, I'm sooooo essited...San Fran has about a billion penny press machines! YES!!!

So yeah, it's been awhile, and here I go, finally posting my Chicago blog! I finally finished uploading my pics. I'm not sure why it took so long, but...It did.

I had the best time with you guys. I miss you. I really only have one regret from Chicago, and that was the milkshake. Lactose-intolerant people should never have milkshakes.

3. There's no sales tax here. Sales tax is dumb.

4. It's relatively inexpensive to live here (compared to many west-coast areas)

6. Mt. Friggin Hood, dude. Snowboarding/skiiing right outside the city. :)



7. Portland has been named BEER CITY USA (tied with some town in NC, but still!)



8. There's like, lots of nature and stuff, right in the city:

Good news, people. I was able to get a slightly cheaper rate going directly through the hotel. I was able to get $82/night + tax, = $95/night including tax.

Alvarejo is coming to visit this weekend! Yay! I was thinking since it will be hot, maybe we could go out to the coast on Saturday during the day, then maybe do something in town Saturday night. I'm not sure when he's leaving on Sunday, so we'll play that by ear. Oh yeah, and there's Friday night, too!
