I love the Kids' blue...Will it fit me?

I love, love, love this design, but I love it best in the kids' blue color. I'm thinking that maybe, just maybe, one of the kids' sizes might fit me. Most of my Threadless tees are Girly Large...Has anyone my size tried one of the kids' shirts, and what do you think? Or am I just too fat to pull this off? ;)

a kids 10 or 12 should be ok width-wise but you're going to lose a lot of length ... so it might be too short depending on your torso

Thanks! Yeah I guess I'm just wondering how they actually fit on an adult...The length does worry me a bit. Maybe I just need to suck it up and order one and see for myself! :)

I bought a Kids 8 in this and it fits great - even a little big - it's on my profile page. I usually get a girly M - the length is shorter.

Oh it looks really cute on you! I wish they'd done the women's one in that color. I think I'm gonna have to go for a bigger size than you-I have a few more pounds on me! But thanks for sharing, because it gives me a good idea of how they fit in general.

Thanks! Totally agree with you about the color - the girly one seems so washed out and the turquoise makes the design pop out a lot more.

Oh, the "the length is shorter" refers to the kids tee - it IS shorter than a girly, but I'm not crazy about the long butt-wrapping length of the girly tees anyway - this one is long enough to cover skin, but not tight around the bottom.

Yeah, I feel that some of the detail of the design is lost on the light blue one (at least, as far as I can see from the product pics), plus, that color really washes me out. I think the shorter length won't be a big problem, as long as it covers my round, extremely white belly, hehe.
