please help me out with whatever you know about belt prints! i am making a design that is supposed to be a unique belt print all around, not a repeating pattern.

That said, should i design it in the shape of a tee with the chart measurements? im really not sure how to lay it out so let me know anything that might help!

here is the link of the design in critique...

I like it. I think what I would do is design it big enough so that you can take like a tee-shirt shaped cut out of it and still have plenty of design left over.

thank you ;) i was thinking that but i kinda want the edges of the woodgrain to match up (as much as they can for a belt print) is there a way to do that?

Now for the final question on this matter, should I form the design to fit the actual tee or the one provided on template with the colors?

A couple of things to remember, they won't burn different screen for different sizes, so make sure it will cover the large sizes but still work on the smaller sizes.

The dimensions of the shirts in that psd I linked to are taken from the sizing charts for both threadless and aa tees, so I would use that as a reference for size rather than the generic template in the sub kit. This should just be used as a reference though, use a real tee when you do the mock up for submission.

On the right side of my profile (the picture of the shirt) is a link to some Photoshop templates. Most will work with gimp as well if that is what you are using.

Hope that helps. Please feel free to ask for clarification, if needed.
