Hearing stuff.
I have to get this for myself because of my field...but I have to disagree with the mp3 player--depending how loud it is--it can be a 3, or can be a 9. :)

(In case anyone is wondering, the level of sound that is dangerous to one's hearing is 85 dB HL). Can you tell I've spent a little too much time at work?

Hearing geek here too, second the MP3 comment (depends on volume, transducers, etc), although it is 85 dB SPL that is considered dangerous to one's hearing.
