Hello Everyone!

I'm a newb here on threadless and there's still some stuff I haven't figured out abous submissions. I have a design I'd like to submit, but I don't know how big my original design should be. I'm working in photoshop and it currently has a dpi of over 200, however, it's quite small. It's probably currently too big to fit on a tee, but looks very odd if I take the whole design and shrink it...it gets all distorted...any ideas?!
Thanks a bunch!!

Just put it in the dryer when it's wet...that should shrink it a bit without losing any clarity.

Use design softener in the wash and then hang dry, it usually gets rid of any pixelation and distortion.

lol They're just teasing.

I'm not a designer so I wouldn't know about any of this but hello and welcome nonetheless. Good luck with your designs.

in the bottom corner of your photoshop screen it should say the actual size of the design in inches. that's what matters. it may look huge on your screen but that is merely due to the fact that the computer can only show so many pixels. if you want to shrink it, you can go to image, resize, image size, and then do percentages to maintain the quality. when you resize and it becomes pixelly when you ask for "print size" try printing it out anyway... the computer again can only show so much and so it distorts it even though the design itself is in tact.

I hope this helped a little bit =)

sorry if it didn't
