luv her voice, alvin. but if you look into her back story you'll just find how she's completely fabricated, uses song writers for her music, etc. which normally wouldn't bother me, but for some reason it does here bc her image is marketed as a rags-to-riches indie artist.

I'm with Alvin on this. I like her voice and I love "Video Games," her other songs haven't really done as much for me so I don't really ever plan on seeing her live (her SNL performance was definitely lacking but it wasn't the worst I'd ever seen) or buying her album.
But I'm not fazed by the uproar around her and honestly the amount of vitriol the internet has for her is a little much. Although, I do think that the whole "Gangster Nancy Sinatra" thing was a little silly.

And yeah, I'm pretty sure the lips are real. If you see her performances from bars and such when she used her real name she had those same lips back then as she does now.

Haha, the gangster Nancy Sinatra is silly but awesome to think about, partly because the only Nancy Sinatra song I know is "Sugar Town". I don't know how you'd even make that gangster.

My opinion (as someone who has never heard of her until now and googled imaged her to see wtf): she's trying too hard and she definitely looks like she got lip injections at some point.

Also, I saw Cold Cut Combo play the other night and they gots some jizzy shizzy goin' on
