Yeah - so I was bored and made that one over there on the left. No real point in submitting it, but I did think it would be a good thing if everybody knew how to make the best airplanes ever. Try it and tell me how it goes.

Before you start, be sure to fold the paper in half (lengthwise) and back out again, so you have a reference line.

It's hard to see on the smaller version, but the difference between 4 and 5 is that the little triangle left in 4 is folded over the two flaps to hold them down when the plane is folded in half in step 6.

Be sure to note that when throwing, best flights are achieved by flinging the plane briskly, in a slightly downward motion. Enjoy.

I know, I flug about twenty off of my front porch today (just that bored). It sailed down to the street and a couple hit the mailtruck while it was delivering more paper for airplanes.

i think you should submit it as a shirt. you've got nothing to lose, so why not? maybe if you added those dotted arrows to show which wasy to fold or whatever and it'd be great!

I just threw it and it flew into my boss's office and landed in front of his desk. Instead of firing me, he came out and gave it a go himself, and then gave me a raise! Actually, I made up the part about the raise, but he is in there folding one himself, now.

Haha! Yay for success. I've been making these for years - I remember I flew one across the room in my 10th grade english class, and my teacher picked it up and asked if she could use it for a display on paper folding.

You should submit this because...well, it is great.
My best friend can make airplanes of such great proportions. If you were to submit this, I would probably five you. And buy you. And then when you finally became wonderful and printed, I would buy you twice - once for me and once for my beautiful airplane making friend.
No, I will not go to Philly today because it is raining. Which is quite depressing.

I'm just going to bump a whole whack of old blogs that have nothing to do with LUE, or British Tyranawhatsit, or people who "create" text art (How 1988!).
