did McFarlane toys go?

I was just checking their site and I remember I haven't bought anything from them for over a year. The main reason because I hadn't found any, I go to the US a fe times a year and always look out for them but hadn't seen any in a while. Not at Walmart nor KB Toys nor Toys R Us, just a few in Hot Topic or Specers but they're very limited and rarely have the really good ones.

So where the hell can I buy McFarlane toys now?

The best PBS show ever (besides Reading Rainbow):

It was also an awesome computer game. For nerds.

I have noticed a decrease in them as well. On occasion I'd see the dragons or Army figs they've been doing but not so much anymore.

I thought this blog was about Carmen Sandiego as well

Daniella-Thanks!

Dee-I'll watch it when I'm home.

Skeev-Yeah, dragons is what I've seen most, but still very few, but no regular spawn figures.

Martian-Is she hot at least?

Dee-On second thought, if she's not hot I might not watch it.

I had kids...

and started buying transformers and such for my boy

I was able to afford continuing to collect my comics but the toys had to go -

also - my wife is not keen on the house being covered in toys - so they are all kept in lether suitcases - every now and again I pull a suitcase out and let my kids play with them -

but these are all 10-12 years old

Hahahaha.....I forgot MacFarlene was the "Spawn" guy.

I always confuse him with Seth MacFarlane, who created Family Guy.

I was wondering what robots had to do with the Griffens...

Well that's understandable, but perhaps later you can buy them "for your kids".
skeev

I still have a passing interest in the sports figures, whenever I see a Pittsburgh player come out I generally try to find it.

Also, when he would do a tie in for a movie/game/other comic that was a fan of. I loved his Marv figures.

It's just to damn expensive to keep up with anymore though.

Oh no, Seth McFarlane's toys are pretty different

againstbound
againstbound on Jul 17 '08 at 1:43pm
Yeah Skeev, yesterday I saw Hellboy 2 and was hoping they were doing a series about them, that's why I was checking their site today.

Isn't there a McFarlane store in Arizona?

*runs off to Google*

Hey, there is. It used to be in Tempe, but now it's in Glendale.
againstbound
againstbound on Jul 17 '08 at 1:51pm
Damn, Arizona is too far from me, I usually just go to Brownsville, TX, and it's merely for shopping.
bcrider
bcrider on Jul 17 '08 at 2:02pm
Oh, well, fart.

What about FYE? They're in Brownsville. They show that they carry McFarlane. So does Suncoast, and their website shows they're in Brownsville.

Maybe??? :D
againstbound
againstbound on Jul 17 '08 at 2:06pm
Yeah, I bought my HR Giger's Li 2 from FYE, but haven't seen any as of late. I'm not aquainted with Suncoast.

bcrider
bcrider on Jul 17 '08 at 2:09pm
Suncoast, at least what I remember of it, was solely for movies; they carried (ours shut down) DVDs, VHS tapes, movie posters, toys and clothes with movie themes, stuff like that. They had a ton of Nightmare Before Christmas stuff when it came out.
bcrider
bcrider on Jul 17 '08 at 2:09pm
I really really like that viking dude and the horse.

i have like 50 of those spawn things. i use to be able to buy them at walmart and target for 12-15bucks each.

where did the spawn toys go... more like where did all toys go....

the toy section in most stores suck these days. stupid electronics have taken over.
againstbound
againstbound on Jul 17 '08 at 2:36pm
Yeah, I liked Walmart cause they sold them for 3-4 bucks cheaper than other stores.

Not McFarlane, but I totally bought Morpheus a couple years ago.

A lot of my toys went "missing" when I moved out of my parents house a few years ago.

I don't know what MacFarlane is but I know what Glendale is. If I'm ever up in the Phoenix area for shopping again (gas is prohibitively expensive these days) I'll hop over and take a lookie lou for ya.
